Officer Training 8/24

Just a reminder that the Fall 2010 Officer Training will be held on Tuesday, August 24^th from 1:30-4:30pm on the third floor of LBJSC. This training is mandatory and a schedule of events can be found on the Sport Clubs Website. This year’s training is setup conference style so there will be multiple educational sessions happening at once so teams must decide which officer is to attend which session. At least one officer from each team must attend each session to receive Bobcat Scoreboard points. Food and drinks will served! Teams may bring additional members that do not hold an official officer position if they feel that they will benefit from this training.

 

Immediately following the training all coaches and advisors have been invited for a meet and greet. Officers are more than welcome to attend. Food and drink will be served as well.

Texas State Sport Clubs will have two opportunities for recruitment at the 2010 Student Organizations Fair held on Wednesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 2 from 10am-2pm in LBJSC Ball Room. Teams who wish to attend must fill out a registration form and e-mail it to SOC@txstate.edu no later than August 27^th. The registration form can be found on the Sport Clubs Website under Club Documents.

 

All teams in attendance will receive Bobcat Scoreboard points. Please let the Sport Clubs Office know if your team will be in attendance so your banner can be brought to you.

The Student Recreation Center is teaming up with PAWS Preview to showcase Sport Clubs by offering another chance for recruitment. The event will be held on Sunday, August 22 from 5-7pm on the first floor of the Student Recreation Center. Teams in attendance will receive Bobcat Scoreboard Points!
